• Web based interface for SPOT-ITN has been installed and ERs/ ESRs have been recruited.
• Initial goals and strategies of SPOT-ITN have been defined.
• Methods for pollen isolation, pollen-specific protein, and single cell analysis have been established.
• The existing Tilling, GM, NIL and TT plants have been distributed in the consortium.
• Components of the network regulating protein homeostasis in pollen has been identified.
• Database design for general data deposition, interlinking to public resources, and initial network design has been achieved.
• Mid-term review meeting has been conducted successfully in Arnhem, Netherlands.
• Mid-term assessment and questionnaire and report submitted.
